FAQ's

Is MOPS kid friendly?
Unfortunately, we do NOT have childcare available.
However, nursing babies are always welcome!

How much does it cost?
Typically MOPS/MOMSnext membership fees would be paid as well as  supply costs. However, our host church,
Emmanuel Church, graciously and generously covers this cost!!! Can you believe it?! That makes it FREE for you! We do always accept donations in the form of an offering for Emmanuel Church as well.

Can I bring a friend?
If you have a friend who is a MOP (Mother of a preschooler *pregnancy-through kindergarten), not only CAN you but you SHOULD invite her!

If you have a friend who is a mom of a child kindergarten age through high school, invite her too! MOMSnext is a part of our MOPS group that allows moms moving into school age seasons with their children to connect with each other.

How do I get involved?
SHOW UP! Yep, that simple. You come on a MOPS day - 2nd & 4th Tuesdays from 6pm to 8pm September-May - and once you have attended 2 meetings you are an official MOPS member. You will fill some paperwork out, but we do the rest for you!

Do I need to pre-register?
Nope! Just come to a regular MOPS meeting and we will handle the paperwork.

Do you have weekend/daytime activities?
We do have events, some of which may occur on weekends or during the day, but no MOPS or MOMSnext meetings are held at these times.

Do I need to be affiliated with the church?
NOPE! While we LOVE our host church, and would love to see you there on Sunday, you absolutely do not need to attend the church to be a MOPS member.

Is MOPS nursing friendly?
We sure are! Breastfed babies are always welcome! Be sure to give yourself a break. We have lots of grandmas around who would love to snuggle your little peanut.
